I began counselling over 30 years ago training with Relate(or National Marriage Guidance Council as it was then) at the Herbert Gray College in Rugby. As a Relate Counsellor for some 12 years, I spent a number of years based in Potters Bar before transferring to North Herts.
Following a break to concentrate on my career in industry, I resumed counselling formally in private practice in 2004 although throughout my career I have continued with appropriate training to add to my skills and experience in counselling, mentoring and supporting others during their various personal, relationship and workplace difficulties.
I provide counselling for individuals and couples and my service is accessible to all people regardless of origins, culture or orientation and clients come from all walks of life and backgrounds.
I offer counselling covering a wide range of issues regarding relationships with partners, family, work colleagues or people in general ; or of a personal nature such as anxieties, depression, sexual concerns, stress or low self-esteem. I am based in Stevenage although my clients often travel to me from a wide area and surrounding counties too.
I am a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and work to the BACP Ethical Framework.
